The NC Museum of Art Hours and Days of Operation
The NC Museum of Art is always closed on Monday. The park is open everyday, even on holidays, from dawn to dusk. The museum is open Tuesday–Thursday 10 am–5 pm, Friday 10 am–9 pm, and Saturday–Sunday 10 am–5 pm. It is also open on some holidays.

When you arrive you will be given a map of the grounds, west building and east building. Visitor parking is free. It is also free admission to the Museum’s permanent collection and the Museum Park. If you and your guests plan to attend special exhibitions and programs, such as concerts, films, classes, and performances there may be a small fee sand ticket say be purchased in advance online.
The NC Museum of Art is Handicap Accessible
This museum is accessible to all visitors and accessible restrooms are available in west building and on the top levels of east building, but wheelchairs are not recommended in the park due to the steep grades in the natural landscape. Some other general amenities include Spanish-language visitor guides, strollers are available free to children and toddlers, lockers are available for free for personal belongings, first aid assistance is also available.
