There’s even something for those who want to try their luck at snagging some snappy crabs. Visitors are free to fish on their own; however, they offer fishing classes for those who need a little instruction. Also, so that everyone can experience this attraction, Jennette’s Pier is handicap accessible.

Jennette’s pier is open year round; though it is important to check hours of operation for the month of your visit. From May until August the times of operation are 5 a.m. until midnight. In April, September, October, and November they are open from 6 a.m. until midnight. From December until March times of operation are 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. The cost to walk along the pier is $2 for adults and $1 for children 12 and under. When planning a visit it is important to check weather forecasts, since threat of severe storms can change operation times. It is advised that you wear comfortable clothes and shoes for standing and walking. It may also be a good idea to wear a hat and plenty of sunscreen as there is not much in the way of shade on the pier. There is no wait time to get onto the pier, but with this being a favorite spot of both locals and visitors to fish, it can be crowded. So expect to become friendly with fellow fishers due to occasionally cramped quarters.
